WHAT TO BRING:

INPATIENT RESIDENTIAL TREATMENT

Here are our top recommendations for what to bring when you stay at our inpatient residential treatment center.

Looking for Residential Treatment?

If you or someone you love is considering residential treatment, don't wait. Embark on the journey of your life today!

Use of personal electronic equipment (cellphones, computers, etc.) are not allowed during treatment but residents may use an MP3 player that does not have WiFi or Bluetooth capability. We love this one!

Whether using it as a tool for self-expression, reflection, goal setting, or to track your progress, patients are encouraged to bring a notebook to empower them to take an active role in their recovery. With over 300 large pages encased in a durable vegan leather, this notebook is a great option in any color to bring with you to residential treatment.

In addition to your notebook, you'll want something to write with! While we have pens on hand, some people prefer to bring their own. A few, long-lasting colors to help you organize your thoughts and goals are always great to bring with you!

Thermal blankets are great all year long in our milder Prescott weather. This option comes in many colors and can make your room feel more like home.

An invaluable resource, the fourth edition of the Big Book offers patients a supplement to their therapy sessions and is referenced often by peers in recovery. As patients transition to their care after treatment, they continue to lean on this during regular meetings. The personal stories in this edition are a great reminder to us why we do what we do, and have helped many of us overcome our own battles with addiction.

This kit has everything you need for your stay all in one convenient package, without prohibited aerosol or alcohol-containing products.

Having personal photos allows patients to create a sense of comfort and familiarity in their living space, which can contribute to their overall well-being during treatment. Print a few (appropriate) photos before your treatment to bring with you for comfort, stress reduction, and a reminder of your goals!

While entirely optional, our patients often find comfort in weighted blankets or other reminders of home.
